Southern Tier 13-N Regional Talent Pipeline Development Request for Proposal

The Chemung Schuyler Steuben Workforce New York (CSS WF NY) on behalf of the Southern Tier of New York 13-N (STNY 13-N) Partnership, is requesting proposals for Round 3 of the STNY 13-N Regional Talent Pipeline Development across the Southern Tier of New York State.

The purpose of the STNY 13-N Regional Talent Pipeline Development is to solicit initiatives that seek to increase the region's competitive strength and advantage by improving the supply and quality ofthe region's talent pipeline for the advanced manufacturing sector through transformation strategies developed by the Southern Tier of New York 13-N Partnership.

Completed proposals must be received by the Chemung Schuyler Steuben Workforce Office prior to 12:00 p.m. on February 5, 2010, with a contract slated to bein March 1, 2010 and run through October 15, 2010.

Incumbent Worker Training Request for Proposals

 

The Chemung Schuyler Steuben Workforce New York (CSS WF NY) on behalf of the Southern Tier of New York 13-N (STNY 13-N) Partnership, is requesting proposals for Advanced Manufacturing Training for Incumbent Workers.  Please click here to see view/print the proposal.

 

In addition to the RFP, available above, employers that plan to apply will need the following attachments:

The purpose is for advanced manufacturing employers to train their existing workforce in short-term training initiatives that improve the current skills sets.  This RFP represents a strategic partnership between the STNY 13-N Partnership and the Workforce Development Institute (WDI).  The STNY 13-N Region consists of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tompkins, Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties.

 

Applications will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis while funds are available.  All applications must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 30, 2010, with all training to be completed from February 1, 2010 through October 15, 2010.
