Welcome to CSS Workforce New York
CSS-WFNY is a workforce development organization dedicated to assisting individuals with greater employment opportunities, and therefore providing businesses with an adequate labor pool. We are committed to assisting individuals within our community as they search for career opportunities, continue their education or begin vocational training. Our services are available to businesses and job seekers of all ages. We offer a variety of programs including workshops, resume building and training opportunities. The counselors in our youth services program are committed to serving the workforce needs of youths between the ages of 16-21.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Chemung Schuyler Steuben Workforce New York is announcing a temporary closure of the Corning Career Center located at 20 Denison Parkway W., Corning, NY 14830 as of 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Normal center operations will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.

Are you unemployed and tired of hearing you lack the skill sets needed for the position you applied for? Maybe you are frustrated because you don't have anything to "prove" you do have the specific skills required to compete for a job? Perhaps, you are under-employed and need additional training to career ladder or just want continued education in a tight economy? Whether you are an individual customer or a business seeking opportunities for staff development, Metrix On-line Learning is available through CSS Workforce NY. Residents of Chemung, Schuyler & Steuben may apply by visiting any of our 5 local Career Centers. For your convenience the forms are below so you may complete them in advance of your appointment with a counselor.
